Pretzels+Hugs+M&Ms

About 3 years ago, my friend, Lynae, brought me a Christmas treat. Okay, I think she might have brought it for the whole family, but they never saw it.  So I am just going to say it was for me.  She dropped these off in a little Christmas candy dish, wrapped in cellophane and I really didn't know what hit me.  I thought I would just eat one or two before sharing with the rest of my household, and then found myself eating the last one.  They were so good.  I had never had these before then, but I have made them plenty of times since.   The hardest thing about them is unwrapping all the Hugs.
Enter elves.
I made them help me unwrap and they were paid in broken Hugs.  I tried to explain that we could still use the broken ones, but they seemed convinced otherwise.

The best pretzels for this, in my humble opinion, are an off brand or maybe the store brand.  Look for mini pretzels that are just about the same size as the base of the Hug.  I have used the bigger ones and they are still delicious, but it just seems to all fit better on the smaller ones.

Preheat oven to 225.  Line cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper.  Place a Hug on each pretzel.

Place in oven for 4-7 minutes or until Hugs are melty. (I am sure that's a word)
Put an M&M on top and refrigerate until set.  If you can wait that long.  I eat a few on their way to the fridge.

10 more days until the diet starts.  Eat them while you can! :)
